In the summer of 2021, I was selected to paint a mural at the corner of Main and Holden in downtown North Adams, Massachusetts. The subject of the mural, a monarch butterfly, symbolizes our emergence after a long, dark year of the Covid pandemic.
Sponsored by the Cultural Council of Northern Berkshire and funded through the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s Cultural District Initiative Grant, this project is intended to draw increased attention to downtown North Adams by adding to the city's mural collection.
